Jane Tweedie, FCA, is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ dedication to the not-for-profit sector, specialising in charities and education. Her career includes 11 years at Baker Tilly (now RSM) as an audit manager and charity specialist, and 10 years as Senior Audit Manager at WR Partners. She advises a range of clients, including academies, charitable trusts, and Cooperative and Community Benefit Societies.
Jane’s expertise spans audit, compliance, governance, trustee training, and risk management. As an Independent Examiner, she supports smaller charities in ensuring financial accountability. She also serves as a Co-opted Governor on the Audit and Risk Committee at Coleg Cambria, supporting excellence in education.
Qualified with a BSc, FCA, and ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting, Jane thrives on client engagement, helping trustees understand accounts and the audit process to benefit their organisations. Outside work, she enjoys family life, supporting Wrexham AFC, walking her two border terriers.
