WR Partners is thrilled to welcome the newest member of our tax advisory team, Adam Speller!

Adam is an ATT-qualified Private Client Tax Consultant with a growing reputation for delivering tailored tax advice to individuals, families, and trustees.
Adam joins WR to expand our private client tax offering and specialises in personal tax planning, inheritance tax mitigation, trust structuring and helping clients navigate complex legislation with clarity and confidence.
James Clark, Tax Partner and head of our advisory team, shares: “I am delighted to welcome Adam to the tax advisory team at WR Partners. His extensive tax knowledge and experience will be a vital addition to the team, and I look forward to seeing him progress in his role as tax consultant”.
Adam began his career as a tax trainee at Smith & Williamson in Salisbury and has worked in both compliance and advisory departments at firms in Shropshire and the London area. Over his career, he has worked closely with high-net-worth clients, developing a practical, solutions-focused approach. His technical expertise is matched by his personable style, even when dealing with sensitive financial matters, and he is committed to staying ahead of evolving tax regulations.
Adam adds, “I’m excited to join WR Partners and help clients work through their tax challenges. After 20 years in the field, I know how important it is to make complex matters understandable.”
But what really makes Adam stand out? He’ll tell you it’s not him… it’s his kids! Adam jokes that they are “far more interesting” than he is. His son shreds on the electric guitar and is working his way through karate belts, while his daughter is mastering ballet and tap dancing. Adam says their talents clearly come from their mum’s side, and he loves getting to watch them grow and thrive in the things they’re passionate about.
When he isn’t chauffeuring between dance studios and karate dojos, Adam enjoys running and watching football. With over 20 years of experience in tax advisory, he brings not only technical excellence but also warmth, humour, and a family-focused approach to the WR Partners team.
