Our procedures for Lockdown 2.0

With new lockdown measures coming into effect across England from today we have considered our plans very carefully, to enable us to continue to support all our clients across Cheshire, Shropshire for the duration of the latest measures.

Our primary concern is to keep everyone safe, which is why we have made the decision to protect the wellbeing and safety of our clients and staff by continuing to provide exceptional service to yourself remotely by working from home.

We remain open for business and recognise that as we get closer to certain Accounting deadlines it is more important than ever that we are available to support you.

How can I communicate with the Firm?

All of our staff will still be available by the email addresses and telephone numbers that you have previously used to contact them. Alternatively you can email us on

How can I send across my records?

Due to remote working, we ask that any records that we need in order to progress your accounts or tax returns are sent electronically to the office. Our staff will be in contact where appropriate to ask for records that are essential to progressing your accounts work.

Any outgoing client work and records will be sent electronically wherever possible. If this is not possible we will post your records or hold them till it is safe for them to be handed back to you.

Dropping records off at the office

If you are unable to digitally transfer your records to us then you will need to book a drop off slot before bringing your records to our offices, as this is now by appointment only. You can make these arrangements through your usual WR Partners contact or by calling our offices.

Any post received during the lockdown will be scanned and distributed to staff digitally.

Are client meetings taking place?

There will be no client meetings to be held in our offices during the lockdown period and we will be reducing visits to client premises to only those deemed essential.

Many of you will now be used to meeting with our team virtually and this will continue throughout this next lockdown with meetings being held on Teams/Zoom/ or by telephone.

With this in mind, all face to face client meetings that have been arranged to take place within the next two weeks will be postponed or rearranged to take place over Zoom/telephone. Our team will be in contact with you in due course if you are affected by this.

How long will the measures be in place?

The current restriction are going to be in place until at least December 2nd.
