WR Partners wins Gold Award for client experience – for the second year running

We’re proud to share that WR Partners has been awarded the Gold Award and the Company That Cares Award by Investor in Customers (IIC) for the second consecutive year.
IIC is an independent organisation that surveys clients on behalf of firms and scores them on the quality of experience they receive. They look at how well a firm understands client needs, how well it delivers on them, and whether clients come away feeling genuinely looked after. The awards aren’t self-nominated or internally assessed, every score comes directly from the clients we work with.
Achieving Gold two years running means a lot to us, but perhaps not for the reason you might expect. It’s not the award itself that we’re most proud of, it’s what it reflects. Behind these results are the conversations our teams have with clients every day, the calls they return, the problems they help solve, the relationships built over years, sometimes decades. That’s what’s being recognised here, and that belongs to the people across our offices who show up and do that work consistently.
The IIC framework scores firms across several dimensions: whether clients feel understood, whether they trust the people they work with, and whether they’d recommend the firm to others. Our clients scored us highly on trust, honesty, and the quality of the relationships they have with their managers and partners. That matters to us, it tells us the foundations are right.

We were also awarded the Company That Cares Award, which reflects client sentiment about whether a firm genuinely has their best interests at heart. For an accountancy firm, that kind of trust is everything. Our work often sits alongside significant moments in a client’s business or personal finances, decisions about growth, succession, tax planning, the future of a family business. Clients need to know they’re working with people who take that seriously. We’re glad the survey suggests they do.
At the same time, we’re not viewing these results as a reason to be complacent. The same independent process that produced the award also gives us honest feedback about where the experience could be better, and we’re using it. We’re working on a number of practical improvements to how we work with clients, focused on being more consistent, more proactive, and easier to deal with at every stage of the relationship. We’ll be sharing more detail on those plans soon.
Client experience isn’t something we want to be good at only when it’s measured. The goal is to make the WR Partners experience reliably great, for every client, in every team, across every office, as a matter of course. These awards tell us we’re heading in the right direction. The feedback tells us there’s more to do.
