Powys Business Awards Judging process showcases success

Phil Pugh, a director based at WR Partners Newtown office has recently had the privilege of judging several categories for the forthcoming Powys Business Awards taking place on Friday 7th October in Brecon.
His journey has taken him from Welshpool to Crickhowell through the mid Wales countryside. He has visited a variety of businesses and has been excited and inspired from what he has seen and heard from the shortlisted businesses.
The businesses in question have shown great flair for adopting new strategies and ideas to overcome challenges. Harnessing robotic automation to streamline processes and re-deploy and retain skilled staff, using App technology to drive efficiency and allow greater reaction to market demand are just some examples Phil has witnessed.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my role as a Powys Business Awards judge. Getting the opportunity to visit a variety of businesses across mid Wales and seeing firsthand, how they are planning for future success has been incredibly gratifying. Many are now reaping the rewards of bold strategy decisions made during the last couple of years and from my recent experience, fortune has favoured the brave”.
