Ed Griffith returned to WR Partners in 2026 as a Senior Audit Manager, bringing with him something relatively rare in practice, seven years on the other side of the table in the pharmaceutical industry.

Ed started his career at WR Partners, working his way up to Assistant Manager and leading on-site audit engagements across a range of corporate clients. In 2019, he moved into industry as a Finance Business Partner for a FTSE 250 company with revenues north of £750m, an experience that sharpened his commercial instincts and gave him a genuine understanding of what it’s like to be the client.
He returned to WR in 2026, and that industry perspective helps how he manages audit teams and clients across a diverse portfolio of corporate and charity sectors. Ed is FCCA qualified, being an ACCA member since 2013 and gained Fellowship in 2018. He takes his technical development seriously, keeping current with UK GAAP, International Standards on Auditing and IFRS through ongoing training and assessment.
Outside of work, Ed is a devoted Liverpool fan attending several matches per season and enjoys spending time on the golf course, the tennis court, and with his wife Jo and their two children, George and Ella.
